Marlene Dalziel's roles have included working as a social planner and community worker in local government before joining the Divisions of General Practice and Health Care. She also has a B.A (Hons) in Geography and a B. Bus (Accounting). Marlene has lived and worked on the urban rural fringe of Cardinia Shire for over 30 years and is passionate about her community, particularly the dearth of and access to health and community services.
Marlene served on the Board of her local small rural health service for many years, learning about acute, aged and community services and their federal and state funding streams. Now retired, she maintains a keen interest in networks developed during her work years in chronic condition care, mental health and aged care, including lived family experience.
