Kirstan Corben is a respected executive leader and governance expert with a distinguished career spanning the health, community, and sports sectors in Victoria. She currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Better Place Australia, a leading provider of mental health and family support services. Kirstan is Board Chair of South East Leisure, overseeing the strategic direction of key leisure and aquatic facilities in the region. She also holds the position of Board Chair at Better Health Network, one of Melbourne’s foremost community health services.

Her career began in clinical practice and evolved into leadership roles focused on preventative health and population wellbeing. During her 16-year tenure at Alfred Health, Kirstan led numerous world-first initiatives that earned international recognition. She has held executive roles with VicHealth, the Victorian Government, and the St Kilda Football Club, where she spearheaded the creation of the Danny Frawley Centre - a pioneering facility dedicated to improving mental fitness among athletes and the broader community. She also founded DFC Community Ltd, a health promotion charity, serving as its CEO and Executive Director.

Kirstan is passionate about working alongside communities to drive meaningful improvements in health and wellbeing, and brings a strategic, collaborative approach to every leadership role she undertakes.
