Dr Vasilios (Billy) Stoupas is the founder and Principal General Practitioner of a thriving medical practice located within the SEMPHN catchment area. With a strong background in healthcare management and governance, Dr Stoupas has successfully transitioned a struggling practice into a teaching facility, now employing a diverse team.

Previously a Registrar Representative on the RACGP Board (Victoria), Dr Stoupas has experience in governance, financial management, and strategic planning. As Vice President and treasurer of a community childcare centre, he assisted in leading a financial turnaround and refined skills in organisational design and people management.

Dr Stoupas has a passion for community engagement and health education, having collaborated with SEMPHN on initiatives like MyMedicare, and frequently appeared in media to discuss health issues. He is committed to improving primary care services and is actively involved in the healthcare community through various board and committee roles.
